Sky Bridge: This is a popular hanging adventure bridge in Mussoorie made with wire, rope, and bamboo. It is 300 feet long and hangs 80 feet high. It can hold only 25 people at a time, and the admission price is around Rs 300.
Kempty falls has a historical significance and is a must-visit when you are in Mussoorie. In 1835, it was founded as a picnic spot by the British Officer John Mekinan. People from all over the country come here to witness the magnificence of these perennial falls. It is one of the most prominent waterfalls in the Uttarakhand region and is strategically present on the Mussoorie-Dehradun highway because of which it draws a big crowd of tourists.
Located 15 km from Mussoorie, Kempty Falls is nestled at an altitude of 4500 feet above sea level and is encircled by a high mountain cliff. That’s why when the water descends from this great height it splits into five streams. The sacred Yamuna River flows only 12 km from this place. You and your family can enjoy a quiet picnic under the falls.
The best time to visit is during the summer months (March to June) since the weather is most pleasant at this time.
