This is for those who love winters and everything about it. About 400 kilometres from Delhi, Shimla is one of the best Christmas getaways for families from Delhi. About 8-10 hours drive, including stops, will land you in the snow-covered hill station known for its beauty and charm. This could be one of the best places around Delhi to experience snow in winter. And to truly experience the beauty, drive down from Delhi to Kalka and take a toy train from there to Shimla. Soak in the beauty as the slow-moving train traverses through the snow-covered forests.
