Munnar doesn't have any railway connectivity. Those willing to travel by train can access the nearest railway station from Munnar, which is in Aluva. With a distance of 110 kilometres from the nearest railway station travellers can take a cab and embark on an exhilarating journey through the lush greenery of Kerala's landscapes, venturing towards the magical allure of Munnar. The scenic drive to Munnar is an experience in itself, offering glimpses of Kerala's verdant beauty, punctuated by cascading waterfalls, winding roads, and tea plantations stretching as far as the eye can see.
