Our Awesome American Vacation Fun at Disney World

This year, we wanted a special vacation for the kids. So we decided to plan a US trip. I looked up the Club Mahindra website for places to visit in the US and found ten CM resorts!

We finally decided on Florida for two reasons; it had the most resorts and they were close to Disney World. A trip here is one of the highly recommended things to do in the US. Winter seemed like the best time to visit in the US.

Festiva Orlando Resort: 4 Days of Disney World

We had planned four days of Disney World fun. The Festiva Orlando was a surprise for us. It is a big property of 110 acres with a swimming pool, a children’s play area and a whole lot of indoor and outdoor games. But it was the outdoor spa tub that held our attention. The large network of trekking trails in the resort promised adventure.

But our US trip itinerary for the next four days only had Disney World, one of the most fun-filled places to visit in the US. We enjoyed the pool on our first evening and ended the day with a delicious open-air barbecue. The next four days passed very quickly. But we had made one small change to the itinerary. We decided to explore Universal Studios on the fourth day. After Disney World, it is one of the most magical places to visit in the US.

Club Sevilla: Wildlife and Beach Life

We shifted from the Festiva Orlando to Club Sevilla, which is just 20 minutes away and really loved the Mediterranean decor which felt very exotic. Here too, we had a swimming pool. Our two-bedroom apartment also had a fully equipped kitchen. It was a luxurious place with thick carpets and modern facilities. But our most favourite part of the room was the jacuzzi.

We had three days at Sevilla. As we were searching for more fun places to visit in the US, somebody recommended the Sea World Orlando and Gatorland Park. The Sea World was amazing! They have a variety of marine life. But its biggest attractions are its animal shows and rides. The Gatorland Park was another adventure altogether. We saw crocodiles and alligators of all sizes, from babies to 14-foot-long monsters! Lake Tohopekaliga showed us our first lake beach. It was such a unique experience and the lake itself was unlike anything we’d seen. Our three days passed by in a blur. What a holiday we had!
