The date, almond, and chocolate torte is a decadent sweet that has a squidgy and soft texture. If you want to make some chocolate dessert instead of the age-old cake, you can try this simple recipe by Chef Alex Dias, the Executive Chef at Club Mahindra Varca Resort in Goa. 

Ingredients Used for Making Date Almond and Chocolate Torte

 

· Dates (100 gm)

· Dark chocolate (100 gm)

· Almonds (100 gm)

· Egg white (2 no)

 

Method for Making Date Almond and Chocolate Torte

 

· Chop the dates, dark chocolate, and almonds 

· Whisk the egg white and combine it with all the dried ingredients to make the torte mixture

· Put the mixture in the moulds and bake it for five minutes at 180 degrees Celsius

· Once baked, demould the torte, let it cool, and serve
