Ingredients needed for Coorg-style Aloo Fry

  • Cooking oil
  • Green chillies
  • Curry leaves and coriander (finely chopped)
  • Ginger and garlic (chopped)
  • Onions and tomatoes (finely diced)
  • Pepper powder

Method for making Coorg-style Aloo Fry

  • Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, onion, tomato, and fry it all until the onions turn golden brown.
  • Now one cup of water, and put in the roasted or fried potatoes.
  • Add pepper powder, coriander, and salt (as per taste), continue to fry on medium to low heat.
  • Keep stirring the potatoes until the water evaporates and the potatoes are soft.
  • Transfer the potatoes to a plate and serve the delicious Aloo Gadde Pepper Fry.
