Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary (distance from Binsar 14.6 km approx.) 

Well-known as a bird-watching paradise, this wildlife sanctuary is home to some rare animal, bird, and flower species. Its highest point, referred to as Jhandi Dhar, is located at an altitude of 2412 metres. The sanctuary was founded with the intention of preserving the broadleaf oak forests that are predominantly found in the Central Himalayan area. 

Katarmal Sun Temple (distance from Binsar 14.6 km approx.) 

The Katarmal Sun Temple is a historic Hindu temple located in the Kumaon Hills of Uttarakhand and is one of the most significant cultural landmarks in the region. The temple is dedicated to Lord Burhadita or Vriddhaditya (the ancient Sun God). Surya's (Sun god) current image  as shown in the temple's artwork was created some time in the 12th century. Katarmalla, a Katyuri king, erected this temple in the 9th century. At an elevation of 21,16 m, the Sun Temple is an iconic historical landmark known for its stunning architecture. 

Kasar Devi (distance from Binsar 19 km approx.) 

This hilltop village is in the Kumaon region, right next to Almora. It has been a big draw for mystics, artists, philosophers, free-thinkers, and spiritual seekers for a long time. The village derives its name from the Kasar Devi temple, built in the second century, and beautifully hidden amidst the Pine and Deodar trees. The place is what it is because it is located on the planet's Van Allen Belt. Due to the gaps in radiation bands, the area around the Kasar Devi Temple consists of a huge geomagnetic field. It is said to possess very high cosmic energy comparable to the likes of Stonehenge in the UK and Machu Picchu in Peru. 

Chaukori (distance from Binsar 93.5 km approx.) 

Chaukori is a small village with a view of the Himalayan Peaks that will blow your mind. It has everything a nature lover could want in a vacation spot. Chaukori, which is part of the Pithoragarh District in the Kumaon Region of Uttarakhand and is located 2010 m above sea level, has retained its rustic charm. It is especially appealing owing to the scenic view of Nand Kot and Panchachuli, two of the most beautiful Himalayan peaks.
