Uttarakhand announces the launch of gyrocopter safari, a brand-new concept redefining adventure tourism in the state by the end of 2023.

Adventure Tourism in India is about to take a new leap as Uttarakhand is all set to launch the country's maiden gyrocopter safari by the end of the year. As per the reports, this recent development took place during a session at Uttarakhand’s Investors Summit.

Manish Saini, CEO of Rajas Aerosports and Adventure Limited Private Limited, overseeing this venture, emphasized that the gyrocopter safari is not only the first of its kind in India but also across South Asia. A gyrocopter is a mini helicopter that features a rotor-driven mechanism rather than a regular engine. Offering a thrilling bird’s eye view to the tourists, it promises to offer a fresh perspective to adventure tourism in India.

State Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj mentioned that the government aims to enable seamless journeys for tourists and is working to promote adventure tourism and pilgrimage. He further shared plans for the development of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat as Shiva Nagari, and Corbett and Sitabani as a comprehensive animal kingdom.

Popular across South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, and Australia, gyrocopter safari will offer an exhilarating experience to tourists in India as well. Tourists will now be able to get an up-close view of natural wonders like Gangotri and Yamunotri. This opportunity to explore the awe-striking beauty of the Himalayan peaks is expected to momentously boost adventure tourism sector in the state.

It is time to fasten your seatbelts and take a flight over Uttarakhand’s entrancing canvas featuring stark snow-covered mountains, lush green alpine covers, and ecstatic wildlife. Prepare yourself for a sky-high quest in the heart of the Himalayas as the first gyrocopter safari in India takes off by the end of this year.
