For a fun and entertaining family trip, this itinerary will best cover quintessential Goa, with colonial history, sandy beaches and mouth-watering cuisine.
Day 1
Your tour itinerary will start with the exploration of sightseeing attractions in bustling North Goa. A great way to start your trip is to explore the historical landmark of the Bom Jesus Church in Old Goa. Home to the preserved remains of Saint Francis Xavier, the Basilica is an exemplary marvel representing the old Baroque-style architecture. A short distance ahead you will find the ruins of St. Augustine Tower, which is also remnant of the architectural past.
Later in the evening, head to the beaches in the north where you can unwind amidst the slow waves and the coastal frenzy. While there are several beaches to explore in the northern parts, Calangute, Baga and Candolim are quite popular among visitors. If you are looking for a sumptuous meal, one of best the places to visit in Goa for good seafood is Britto’s at Baga Beach; it is a must try for its great food and amazing vibe.

Start your tour with a leisurely stroll around Fort Aguada. Overlooking the serene waters of the ocean, this well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort offers picturesque scenery. After this, you can head to the Vagator Beach that is adorned with red cliffs towering above the shore. The famous Chapora Fort is easily accessible from this beach, which offers some of the best views of the sun setting across the horizon. For some fun-filled activities, many of these beaches offer water sports such as windsurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving, parasailing, snorkelling etc. After visiting the many places to visit in Goa, you can head back to your Goa resort and unwind.

Later in the evening, if you are up for a luxurious experience and a full-fledged entertaining evening, hop onto a cruise boat that swiftly sails across the magnificent Mandovi.
