Holidays in Goa are the ultimate travelers' paradise destination. Goa tourism attracts people from all over the world for a classic experience of the palm trees, the sandy Goan beaches, a lazy sun tan, a swim on the beach, fun and frolic beach games, the popular night clubs and discos, delicious Goan seafood and plenty of booze. You can do an internet search on Goa Hotels and Goa Resorts to find various options from Luxury Hotels, Deluxe Hotels, Apartments and Villas, Economy or Budget Hotels, and various Package deals.
Goa lodging and travel during off season is the cheapest. From June through September (the monsoon season) is the best time to get excellent package deals at rock bottom prices. The rainy season brings a lot of greenery, gushing waterfalls, cool weather and serene surroundings. It is particularly great for those of us who want solitude and a quiet get-away. During season which starts from November through September, the rates are higher. But browsing suitable Goa resorts early will help you get a better price deal on the stay of your choice. Most beach shack hotels and discos shut down for the monsoon, and re-open during the season. But recent years have seen some places open throughout the year to cater to tourists who now visit all year round.
Goa is famous for cashews, coconut water, feni and fish. There are local tour operators and maps to guide you for travel around Goa. A lot of foreigners prefer to hire a scooty to travel around. You would see a lot of people sprawled here, drinking beer, watching the effervescent sea and enjoy watching people around. Site seeing attractions in the form of churches, temples, heritage homes and forts are widespread especially in Old Goa. For the adventurous sort, there are wild life sanctuaries and water sport activities in Goa during the day.
Goa is demarcated into North Goa and South Goa. North Goa is vibrant with a lot of tourists while South Goa appeals to the more subdued person seeking calm tranquility.
