It also hosts the vibrant Shilpgram Festival every year.

Located just 3 km from Fateh Sagar, Shilpgram in Udaipur consists of 26 village houses from various states. Each traditional house reflects the culture, arts, and crafts indigenous to that state; many have exhibits. There is also an excellent folk dance demonstration by local dancers.

A camel ride is a must in Shilpgram. You can enjoy this between 11 am and 7 pm through the week and it takes about 15 minutes. Since Shilpgram is located on the outskirts of the city, it is advisable to hire a private car for your visit.

You can purchase traditional craft items for daily use. All the products are made from metal, wood, or cloth and the complex has its own artisans. The famous Shilpgram Festival takes place over 10 days in December and this is when the entire experience changes. The festival attracts artisans from across the country and is thronged by a multitude of tourists.
