Also known as Sat Tal, the town gets its name from the seven lakes that interconnect with each other. Located about 23 km from the city of Nainital, this town is perfect for bird watchers as it attracts migratory birds in large numbers. Ideal for watching diverse species of birds, the city is also perfect for getting back in touch with nature. Some fun activities you can enjoy in this town include boating and trekking through the woods.
Rishikesh
Rishikesh is a destination that calls out to adventurous travellers. Apart from it being absolutely picturesque, it offers many activities that can make a trip here worthwhile. These include bungee jumping, river rafting, mountain biking and camping. Of course, if you want to get out and explore the surrounding areas, Geeta Bhawan, Triveni Ghat and Kunjapuri Temple are the places to go.
Nainital
