You can plan a Tarkarli visit as an extension of your Goa tour. The place is well connected with Panaji. For instance, you can stay at Club Mahindra Assonora, a lovely resort in the quaint village of Assonora in North Goa, and explore the local places first.

Tarkarli is about 89 km from here and can be reached within two and half hours by driving on the NH 66.

When it comes to visiting India’s coastal areas, Tarkarli might not be on the radar of tourists outside Maharashtra. However, one visit to Tarkarli can make you wonder why you haven’t visited the place before. So, plan a visit to Tarkarli before it becomes too populated or commercialised.
