Corn bhel is easy to make and it needs only a few ingredients, most of which are easily available in every Indian home. It is a super easy, fun, and delicious monsoon season food that you must try!
Ingredients – Boiled corn kernels, onions, tomatoes, coriander (all finely chopped), chopped green chilly (optional), salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, 1 lemon.Â
How to make – Take a large bowl, put together all the ingredients and give it a good mix. Finally squeeze the lemon juice on top before serving.Â

Before you point it out, we know it is Mumbai, but let us tell you, there is a sense of nostalgia about calling it a ‘Bombay’ sandwich. All those who grew up in the 80s and the 90s would agree. Â

Ingredients – bread slices, onion, cumber, boiled potatoes, tomatoes (all thinly sliced), other vegetables as per your choice (you can use corn, beetroot, lettuce), salt, pepper, mint chutney, butter, cheese (optional), paneer (optional).Â
How to make – Spread butter on one bread slice and the mint chutney on the other. Add slices of all the veggies, sprinkle some pepper and salt on top; you can even add chaat masala between the breads. Grate some cheese and sprinkle it on the top of the sandwich. You can have it as is or you can toast the sandwich. Finally top it up with some more chutney, butter, and tomato ketchup.Â

This is one of the best monsoon dishes that is loved by all. A healthy evening snack, you make it a couple of times a week and savour it with your family while it rains outside. Â
Ingredients – buns, eggs, tomatoes, onions, chillies, bell peppers, (veggies finely chopped) and everything else you want in an omelette. Some people like to add blanched spinach, you can use that too. Salt, pepper, oregano, and chilli flakes (all optional). Â
How to make – Squeeze out a hole in a bun at the centre and keep it aside. In a bowl mix the chopped veggies with a bit of salt and pepper. In another bowl whisk the egg white and keep the yolk separately. Â
Now, heat a pan, rub it with some butter and place the bun with a hole. Fill the hole with the veggies. Next, pour the egg white on top. Finally, gently place the yolk over it. Grate some cheese (if you like) and sprinkle some salt and pepper and cover the pan and let it cook for about 3-5 mins. Â

Ingredients – 1 TBSP all-purpose flour, half teaspoon baking powder, one-fourth TSP baking soda, pinch of salt, 1-2 TBSP milk, 1 TBSP olive oil, desired toppings, and sauces. Â
How to make – Take a microwavable cup, add the flour, salt, baking powder and soda, milk, and olive oil. Mix them all well and your pizza base is ready. Â
Now, gently spoon the sauces you want over the pizza base and sprinkle the toppings along with shredded cheese. Put the cup in a microwave for about 5-7 minutes and voila, your cup pizza is ready in minutes.Â

Ingredients – pieces of bread (take 4-5 slices), turmeric powder, salt, sugar, red chilli powder, coriander powder, chopped onions and tomatoes, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, 1 slit green chilli, curry leaves, grated ginger, oil.
How to make – Heat 3-4 tbs oil in a non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds. Once you start getting the aroma of cumin seeds, add the slit green chilli, curry leaves, grated ginger, and chopped onions. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, and once the onions become soft, add the chopped tomatoes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, and then add the bread pieces, salt, sugar, spices, and mix well. You can add some coriander leaves and serve this dish piping hot.Â

Medu Vada is an easy to make crispy, savory South Indian delicacy that's perfect as a monsoon season food. Made from urad dal and seasoned with spices, it's deep-fried to golden perfection. Enjoy it with coconut chutney and sambar, making rainy days even more delightful.
Ingredients – Urad dal, cumin seeds, black pepper, ginger, curry leaves, green chilies, salt, oil.

Pour the batter into a greased steaming dish and steam for about 15-20 minutes until cooked. For tempering, heat oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. Pour the tempering over the steamed dhokla. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with green chutney.

Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat is a delectable North Indian Street food. This dish combines soft lentil dumplings (bhallas) and crispy papdi, topped with chilled yogurt, tangy tamarind chutney, and spicy green chutney.
