Ease in Restrictions for Those Wanting to Travel to Thailand!

For budget and luxury travellers, Thailand comes to be one of the places in the world to have a holiday. But 2021 brings with it some reprieve in the form of easing travel restrictions and opening Thailand for travels and holidays, one step at a time.

These are some of the revised rules that you should be aware of in case you want to visit Thailand:

. Foreign nationals will be able to leave their hotel rooms after the three-day period of the mandatory two-week quarantine. However, these guests are required to stay within the hotel premises.

. Quarantine period has been reduced from 14 to 7 days for most vaccinated travelers.

. Travelers who have not been vaccinated but arrive with a negative test result have to go through a quarantine of 10 days. This change is not applicable to travelers arriving from Africa.

. The relaxation will at first be considered for top Thai tourist destinations, such as Krabi, and Phuket.

. There is talk about lifting mandatory quarantines by July 1, so that vaccinated tourists can visit the country and help Thailand revive its tourism.
