One of the fastest ways to reach Agra from Delhi is by train. Many trains are plying between these two cities. However, if you want to reach the quickest, take the Gatiman Express, which takes just about 100 minutes from Delhi to Agra.
Fitted with Executive AC chair car coaches and AC chair car coaches, this high-speed luxury train is the fastest train by Indian Railways. It runs on all days except Fridays, starting at about 8:10 AM from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and reaching Agra Cantt by 9:50 AM. Other popular trains are the Taj Express, CSMT Rajdhani, Bhopal Shatabdi and more. Most of these trains leave Delhi in the morning and take about 2-3 hours.
The distance between Delhi to Agra in KM is about 233 and takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the traffic conditions. The 6-lane Yamuna Expressway throughout makes Delhi to Agra by Road one of the best ways to travel. But there are three modes of transport you can opt for if you plan to travel by road.

If you plan to drive down on your own to the ancient city of Agra, you’re in for a treat. The smooth expressway with marked exits and Dhabas along the way can be the best way to kickstart your getaway.

Many cab services will help you get from Delhi to Agra. While some are just one-way taxis and will drop you at a destination of your choice in Agra, others will be with you during your entire trip duration. Pick the right service based on your travel needs and budget.

Another option is to take the bus from Delhi to Agra. You can choose between chair cars and sleeper coaches. These buses have one scheduled stop on the way and have fixed timings.

Flight is the least popular option to reach Agra from Delhi, as there are no direct flights between the two cities. However, if you must, you can find many flights from Delhi via Bhopal, Mumbai, Lucknow, etc. The flight time can range between 4 hours to 7 hours or more, depending on the route and halt time.
