By Air

Wayanad doesn’t have an airport. So, take a direct flight from Kempegowda International airport, Bengaluru, to Kozhikode airport, the nearest airport to Wayanad. You can hire a cab or take a public or private bus to reach Wayanad, located 86 km away. 

The total travel time from Bangalore to Wayanad, including the direct flight time, would be about three and a half hours.

By Rail

The nearest railway station to Wayanad is Kozhikode. However, if you’re travelling to Wayanad from Bangalore, take a train to Pandavapura first. Mysuru express takes about 2 hours to reach Pandavapura. A few other trains take 30 minutes more to cover the distance.

Once you reach Pandavapura, hire a cab to reach Wayanad, which is about 158 km from there. The total journey time would take at least 6 hours to complete.

By Road
