With the worldwide spread of Omicron virus, plans of ardent travelers for International travel seem to be a bit hazy. Several countries around the world have chalked out international travel guidelines for jet-setters to follow while commuting from one country to another. 

Taking into account the sudden spark of the Omicron variant new rules for international travel have a set of travel guidelines specific to a particular country. Only those passengers will be permitted to travel in or out of a country that strictly adheres to the new international travel guidelines.

Canada

Traveler wishing to explore Canada, the second –biggest country in the world can do that without undergoing quarantine. Flights from India to Canada have resumed yet only fully vaccinated tourists will be permitted to enter. As per the international travel guidelines, passengers must have a negative COVID-19 molecular test report from the Genestrings Laboratory, located above the metro station in the Airport Connect Building (ACB) at the Indira Gandhi International Airport within 18 hours before their scheduled departure.

Costa Rica

International travel rules are a bit flexible for globe-trotters keen on making their way to Costa Rica. Testing is not necessary. Quarantine is not required yet filling out the Health Pass form is mandatory for the tourists. Mexico

Avid roamers dreaming about utterly captivating and vivid Mexico must know that as per the country’s international travel guidelines undergoing quarantine is necessary upon arrival. Testing is not required yet they must carry a completely filled travel health form which must be presented to immigration on arrival.

Panama

Traveler must present a negative RT-PCR, COVID-19 PCR, or Antigen test report, taken at most 48 hours before arrival. They shall also undergo a second test on arrival. Presenting an Affidavit of Health is mandatory along with 3 days quarantine upon arrival.

Egypt

Fly to the enchanting land of pyramids, a journey to Egypt is sure to leave you awestruck. International travel guidelines here have eased out travel a bit for fervent vagabonds. No quarantine is required, arriving international travelers must show a negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 taken at the most 72 hours prior to arrival.

Namibia

As per the International travel guidelines, travelers must have a negative PCR test or COVID-19 antigen taken at the most a week before departure from the first boarding point. Also, passengers must present a completed epidemiological questionnaire upon arrival.

France

India has moved from France’s Red List to Orange List, the country is allowing fully vaccinated Indian citizens to enter without any restrictions. Non-vaccinated travelers above 12 years must have a COVID 19 PCR or antigen test less than 48 hours before departure. Non-vaccinated passengers on arrival will be subject to random testing and they must undergo quarantine for 7 days. 

Top places to visit: Eiffel Tower, Centre Pompidou, Sainte Chapelle, Musee Robin, Jardin du Luxembourg, Pantheon, Cathedrale Notre Dame, Les Arenes, Mer de Glace.  

Greece

Lose yourself to the indefinable charm of the primeval sun-bleached ruins, travel to Greece. Before arriving in Greece passengers must complete a “Passenger Locator Form (PLF)” at (https://travel.gov.gr/). Testing and quarantine are not required if travelers carry a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival.

Top places to visit: Mystras, Palace of Knossos, Sanctuary of Apollo, Ancient Olympia, Parthenon, Kastro- Medieval Village, Ancient Agora, Mt. Olympus, National Archeological Museum.
