• Kadiya Dungar

• Statue of Unity & Sardar Sarovar Dam

At an imposing height of 182 meters, the Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue. The statue depicting Sardar Vallabhai Patel is on a river island named Sadhu Bet on the Narmada river. You can have a panoramic view of the surrounding from the viewing gallery at the height of 153 metres, accessible through two lifts. 

The Sardar Sarovar Dam is just 4 km from the Statue of Unity. Surrounded by the Mathwar hills and the malwa plateau, it is the second largest concrete dam in the world. The dam has become more popular with tourists since the opening of the Statue of Unity. 

• Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

The sanctuary is spread over 608 sq. Km and is about 68 Km from Netrang on the Ankleshwar-Burhanpur highway. Deep inside the sanctuary is the Zarwani waterfall, which mesmerises tourists with its captivating beauty. 

Moreover, Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is enriched with diverse flora and fauna, which are a nature lover’s delight. The sanctuary is home to numerous exotic animals like the Indian softshell turtle, Indian rock python, Yellow-bellied house gecko, and many more.
