It is believed that the Floriculture Department planted more than 15 lakh tulip bulbs during the winters of 2023-2024, and the results of that are there for everyone to see.

The Tulip Festival will also consist of musical evenings which will see the participation of local and national artists. About 25 stalls will also be set up to showcase the culture, crafts and cuisine of Kashmir. A live exhibition of handloom and handicraft products will also be organised. The Hari Parbat Fort, which is situated atop Hari Parbat and is visible from the Tulip Garden, will also be illuminated on the occasion.
