  • Fateh Sagar Lake

It is one of the most beautiful lakes in Rajasthan. The lake has three separate islands that can be reached through a boat ride. Each island has a well-maintained public park where you can spend the evening watching the sunset.  

  • Lake Pichola

The artificial freshwater lake was created in the year 1362 to meet the drinking water and irrigation needs of its neighbourhood. The famous lake palace named Jag Niwas is built on an island within the lake. The other three islands in this lake are Jag Mandir, Mohan Mandir, and Arsi Vilas. 

A boat cruise around the lake can be an excellent way to explore the beauty of all four islands from the outside.  

  • Gulab Bagh and Zoo

It is the largest garden in Udaipur, spread over 100 acres. The garden has many species of roses, the reason it has got its name, Gulab Bagh (garden of roses).  

  • Udaipur City Palace

The splendid palace, known for its beautiful architecture, is situated on the bank of lake Pichola. It is one of the best places to visit in Udaipur for families and couples. 

  • Karni Mata Temple

Located on the Machala Magra hills, the ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Karni Mata is visited by people from all over the world. As vehicles are not allowed on the hills, you have to hike to the temple from the starting point of the hill.
