Kerala is set to introduce private train tours starting in June, promising an unparalleled journey through the breathtaking landscapes of "God's Own Country."
The private train service, set to be managed by SRMPR Global Railways Private Limited in partnership with Princy World Travels Private Limited, is a part of the Bharat Gaurav Yatra project initiated by the Indian Railways. This initiative aims to offer tourists a unique way to explore the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Kerala while enjoying the comfort and luxury of private train travel.
The inaugural train journey will head to Goa, with scheduled stops at Mumbai and Ayodhya. Passengers will also have the option to board this train from various stations, including Kollam, Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Kannur, Kozhikode, and Kasargode.
Equipped with modern amenities the private trains will ensure a comfortable and hassle-free travel experience for passengers. As far as the amenities are concerned, the said train will be equipped with food, Wi-Fi, and GPS tracking. One of the highlights of these private train tours will be the carefully curated itineraries that showcase the best of Kerala's cultural and natural wonders. Travelers can choose from a variety of tour packages tailored to their interests
