India is to witness a noteworthy advancement in its urban transportation system with the launch of its first Neo Metro Project. The project aims to create a seamless connection between 3 Uttarakhand Cities – Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun soon in 2024. IG Drones to survey the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) corridor.
Taking urban transportation to a new level, the Uttarakhand Government has awarded the contract to survey the PRT Corridor to IG Drones, a Noida-based ariel vehicle company. The Uttarakhand Metro Rail Corporation (UKMRC) will construct this state-of-the-art rapid transit system which will be one of its kind.
The Neo-Metro Project aims to revolutionize rapid transit systems in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun by 2024. The Personalized Rapid Transit (PRT) corridor, integrated into the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS), will seamlessly connect Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun.
