As the offline registration resumes, devotees eagerly prepare to embark on this transformative journey, guided by faith and devotion, to the divine abodes of the Char Dhams.

The offline registrations for the Char Dham Yatra, one of India's holiest pilgrimage have begun with the aim to facilitate the journey of pilgrims. Travelers keen on offline registrations for the yatra can get the registrations done in Haridwar and Rishikesh.

Due to complaints of mismanagement and congestion raised by the pilgrims, the offline registration for the Char Dham Yatra was suspended for a few days. As per reports, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey addressed the matter and reassured pilgrims of the enhanced offline arrangements at Haridwar and Rishikesh.

He further revealed that so far, a staggering 14.3 lakh devotees have already visited the holy Char Dhams. In addition to this around 25,000 backlog registrations from both centers have been addressed, bringing in a sense of control and order in the registration process.

To overcome the prior management challenges the offline registration facility has gone through a strategic relocation from the district tourism office to Rishikul Ground. This proactive measure was taken to reduce any type of congestion and offer seamless registrations to pilgrims heading on this revered journey.

Following Pandey’s address, DM Haridwar Dheeraj Singh Garbyal stressed the importance of the welfare of the pilgrims.  Considering the well-being of the pilgrims, medical teams equipped with ambulances, have been stationed at the offline registration centers.

These teams have been assigned the task of conducting medical check-ups of the pilgrims before setting their foot out for the spiritual yet arduous journey to the Char Dham. The current measures not only reflect the administration's commitment to safeguarding the health and welfare of pilgrims but also address past challenges, thereby forming an environment favorable to spiritual fulfillment and pilgrimage satisfaction.
